Gerardo dell’ Oro is a photojournalist of the well known Argentinean daily paper Clarin. His personal work aims at reflecting the intermingling between the national memory and personal memories. Malvinas is remarkable in that respect, produced in parallel to a request from the paper, i.e. to relate the arrival in the Malvinas islands of the families of Argentineans who died during the war between Argentina and Great Britain in 1982…
As a result: 21 photographic plates of silent and deafening screams and a short text from the author (English/French/Spanish).
